Some context for the photo above: I was recently in New Zealand! This photo was taken at the top of Conical Hill, on the Routeburn Track. One of the great hikes of New Zealand, the Routeburn is stunningly scenic, even without a family of Kea visiting. Far out down the Hollyford Valley you can just barely see the Tasman Sea. We were lucky the weather was so good.
